Services
Consulting
Our Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) and Occupational Therapists (OTs) consult with student support teams to problem solve, determine appropriate referrals for special education evaluation, and create beneficial educational plans and supports for students to improve academic success.
Evaluation
Our team of OTs and SLPs conduct thorough evaluations, using the latest assessment tools, related to all areas within our scopes of practice including articulation, receptive and expressive language, voice, literacy, writing, speech fluency skills, sensory processing, fine/gross motor skills, visual perception, regulation, self-care, executive function, and environmental access.
Therapy
Our SLPs and OTs provide individualized therapy to each child addressing his/her/their specific educational needs. Our continuous communication with each child’s support team, including parents, teachers, doctors, advocates, and other related service providers, aids in developing our successful therapy program. Detailed progress reports are provided in accordance to the Minnesota Department of Education requirements.
In-Service
Our team provides in-service training to school personnel on a variety of topics including, but not limited to, speech, language, occupational therapy, hearing impairment, specific communication needs of bilingual students, the OT's and SLP's role within the educational setting, and how we can support the special education team.
